Gratitude

There was a time I rushed into every day like it was a race I couldn’t win. Meetings. Deadlines. Noise. Even the good things blurred into the background.
Then I started writing down three things I was grateful for—every morning. Just three. It has changed my life!
At the top of my list this morning was the arrival of our 6th grandchild – Cooper James, who entered this world on Monday.
At first, it felt simple. Then it felt powerful.
Now, it’s non-negotiable. Because gratitude rewired how I see the world. It slowed me down just enough to notice the smile from a stranger, the warmth of my coffee and the way my I feel when I make healthy lifestyle choices.
The truth? Practicing gratitude didn’t just make me happier—it made me better. More patient. Kinder. More fulfilled. It reminded me that even on the hard days, there is always something worth honoring.
Your Dash isn’t stretched by what you accumulate. It’s stretched by what you appreciate.
Try it tomorrow morning. Three things. No filters. No fluff. Just a pen, some paper, and your heart wide open.
